Volunteer Opportunities

Construction

Ready to roll up your sleeves and help build a home with us? We’d love to have you join us on site.

While our sponsors often provide part of the workforce on site, there’s room for individuals and groups to join in as well. No special skills are required – just a willing heart, a desire to learn, and a strong work ethic. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to construction, you can make a meaningful difference.

All volunteers on the work site must be 16 years old or older – no exceptions due to Federal Labor Laws. Volunteers 16-17 years old are allowed to participate in construction but cannot get on the roof or operate power tools
We build rain or shine! Please dress accordingly and note that close toed shoes are a requirement.

We provide all tools and safety gear – check out our Safety Handbook to learn more. (make the handbook be a link)

Our typical workday is from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Each morning will start with signing in, a Habitat 101, and explanation of the day’s task(s).

There is a chance you will be working alongside future homeowners, individuals, or another volunteer group.

ReStore

When most people think about volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, they picture power tools and paintbrushes.

Sure, construction is the most visible part of our mission, but we have so many more ways individuals and groups can give their time and support.

Serving at our ReStore is another way you can help!

We can use volunteers in several areas:

  • Loading and unloading merchandise

  • Assisting with donation pickups

  • Helping with deconstruction projects

  • Cleaning and preparing merchandise for sale

  • Maintaining a clean store

  • Providing friendly customer service

Other Opportunities

Looking for a meaningful way to support our mission? We’re currently seeking individuals and groups who would be willing to provide meals and/or drinks for our hardworking volunteers on build days.
Your generosity keeps our teams energized and encouraged as they serve local families. If you’d like to help in this practical and impactful way, we would love to connect with you!

We love being a part of community events! Take a shift at one of our booths to pass out flyers, engage with attendees, and spread the word about our mission.
